Dodge Ridge

I went to a ski resort called Dodge Ridge. I had lots of fun there. I went on lots of ski lifts and lots of ski slopes. Let me tell you all about Dodge Ridge.

I had to get up at five in the morning to get all ready to go. We met the Gleesons at the steak house. She was really late. My sister Clare told me she has a hard time getting out of the house. Specking of late she was fifteen minutes late.

The car ride took a while. It took about two hours and thirty minutes. On the way there we had to stop and get gas. While we were getting gas my grandma went in and got us all a pack of starbursts.

Now we are finally back on the road. When we got into a town called oak dale we stopped at Jack in the box to get some breakfast. I had a two breakfast jacks.

Again we are finally back on the road. From jack in the box to the ski resort took about one hour and thirty minutes. Now we are finally at the ski resort. I am relived to get out of the car and stretch. When we got there I had to get dressed as fast as I could to get my boots and skies.

My mom made us take a lesson. The lesson is about two hours long. It gets boring after a while because we are doing the same stuff over and over again.

Now I am finally done with the ski lesson. It is now time to eat lunch. I had cheese and chips and pudding and crackers. After we were done eating we went out on the slopes. First we went to chair six. I went to chair six with Jordan, and Kaitlyn. Chair six has two slopes. They have a bumpy slope and a flat slope. I like the flat slope better than the bumpy.

Then I went over to the rope tow. The rope tow is when the rope tows you up to the top of the hill. The hill that it tows you up to is really small though. When I went down the little hill I went back to the lodge returned my ski stuff and went back home.

I had a great time a Dodge Ridge. I hope I can go again. I love going skiing.

Corey: You were so busy skiing that I only got to ride on the lift with you once. It sure was nice, though... and beautiful with all of the snow.... grammy
