I went and saw artifacts of King Tut. I went to the De-young museum in San Francisco. They have stuff that is three thousand years old, and over five thousand treasures. Let me tell you all about it.
King Tut was a pharaoh of Egypt. King Tut was a boy pharaoh. Young King Tut died at the age of nineteen. We don’t know how he died. How he died is still a mystery.
Tut’s father was named Akhenaton. Akhenaton believed in one god. He got rid of all of the other gods. Tut believed in many gods. Tut brought back gods.
When people die the make them into mummies. What they do is they put the organs in canopic jars. They wrap the heart in linen and put it back in its body. In Tuts tomb they put board games and treasures for the after life.
We saw lots of gold. They made all of these three thousand year old golden statues. We even saw a golden coffin with all these hieroglyphs on it. We saw this dagger with all of these little tiny beads on it. Then we saw this necklace with hundreds of little beads on it. King Tuts coffin had tunes of layers on it. They found king tuts tomb 3,000 years after they buried him.
I loved going and seeing the artifacts of King Tut. I would love to go and see more and more about him. I loved going and seeing stuff about King Tut.

Great story, baseball boy! I wish I could have gone. Would you like to spend the night in a pyramid? Not me!! Grammy
I have a theory on how king tut died, but it is very complicated and would not fit into a small post here. Let me just sum it up with 3 things: Rabbits, Trees, and some really smelly feet. I think the rest is pretty obvious.
Its so neat that you got to see something that OLD! Amazing. I bet since you are interested in King Tut you could probably learn a lot more about him. I think that is so fascinating!
