I went to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. I got to learn about all kinds of fish. There is a new sea horse exhibit. Let me tell you all about that and all of the other fish and sharks in the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
First we went and saw the penguin feeding. They said that the penguins eat twenty fish a day. Isn’t that a lot of fish. There was one penguin who wouldn’t come down and eat because he had to sit on an egg so that the baby would hatch.
After that we went to the outer bay section of the aquarium. That is where all of the bigger fish are like the sharks and the tuna. There was even a weird looking sunfish. The sharks were called the Galapagos sharks and the hammerhead sharks.
The touch pools were fun too. In the touch pools we got to touch bat rays and that kind of stuff. We got to touch a crab and a sea cucumber and star fish and a sea urchin.
Then we went and ate lunch. I had a turkey sandwich.
After lunch we went home and went shopping. We went to a lot of stores. It took a while to get out of the outlets because my mom and my auntie take so long when they are shopping.
I had a great time at the aquarium. I hope I get to go again next year. I loved going to the aquarium.
